hey all i finally got my backside into gear after my main computer dieing and having to use my second computer to copy and shrink then upload the pics, but below is most of the pictures that i took on sunday (yesterday) of rods XR8 ute and i hope you enjoy them as much as i did taking them..... 8)

the first 4 pics were taken up the top of park ridge//////////

the next 3 were taken at the first lookout on the road up to lake morris ////////

the next one was an attempted motion shot that went half wrong as i had the camera on the wrong setting, but you get that...still a nice photo from the 3rd lookout

this was the chase car :lol: pitty i nearly lost you rod coming down the lake morris road and damn there were a few squeezy moments with cars coming the other way :?

and finally the last batch which were taken just shy of ellis beach on the really tight left hand bend heading north that over-looks ellis beach and beyond.....

this photo below would have to be my most favourite out of the 114 photographs i took for the arvo....and now its my desktop photo 8)

p.s. thanks once again to rod for the use of his awesome ute and i cant wait to get some new photos with its new bumper on 8)

p.p.s. give me some feed back on which photo you liked the most and why whether its good or bad.... :D

note: all photos that are on this page are exactly as i took them off the camera just that they have been shrunk to make it easier to download/upload for all people to see :o

Thanx Dave, those piccies are AWSOME!!
You dont seem to get as much "flare" on yers, so guess i gotta go back and learn my camera settings again :roll:

my fave pics were the ones of your car at trinity and the bak ground is all water and the sky... the clouds look wicked as ... great job boys... hopefully have more people out for the next one

Got confirmation the bar left Sydney Monday night, should arrive Cairns Thursday morining. Ill zing it round to Phil at cobra and he will have it painted friday arvo all going to plan .
Ill fit it Saturday so we can make a tentative Sunday arvo shoot again .
(Although I have a street party to go to Sat night so ... :roll: :drinkers: :partyman: :toimonster:

i dont mind i would quite happily drive the ute :twisted: 8)

sunday sounds good and i dont mind and im sure rod wont mind a couple extras taggin along.... 8)

well im not sure about saturday night as so far my panelvan is still sittin in the same place it was this time last week :( but i will try my best :wink:

ROD + STREET PARTY + BEER + LOTZ MORE BEER COULD = NO PHOTO SHOOT SUNDAY.

you have to drink have responsible if you want to get to the photo locations in one piece and get past the coppers that will be no doubt on the road :roll:

well i have just been out and about in town and seen some nice hotrods amongst other nice cars, but what concerns me is there were some really really creepy clouds coming in over cairns....eg you could see where the clouds start and stop distinctively and looks like rain for 2morrow :( but the weather man says fine weather so we will just see how we go :)
