I didn't notice in the regs... whats the stand on passengers in the car? Can you take people around during either of the events?

Good question.

smile.gif I try 2 be supportive. My son is 2 n half years old and loves cars - are spectators able to get up close and personal to the drift cars after the competition has finished and will there be merchandise on sale?

Bit of news....

I have spoken to Ian regarding vehicle numbers. You can elect to have a number of your choice and if available is not a problem.

DAN from ADD is coming up and so is his Skyvia!!!

Josh is also coming in his 86

He is no pro. Good, but there is always room for improvements.

No go. Insurance does not cover this.

Dan and Josh will not be part of competition. They are 'feature cars' and instructors. They are not here to compete.

That's what the school is for. Not going to get better if you don't have a go.

HEY GUYS, THE DRIFT SCHOOL HAS A DOUBLE PURPOSE

1/ AS AN INTRO TO ALL FNQ DRIFTERS TO OUR STYLE OF SHOW & pave the way to establish a good core group of reliable drifters so that we can run a full season program for you guys in 2009
2/ AS A WAY FOR NEWBIES TO GET AN INTRO TO THE SPORT OF DRIFTING, that is if you are interested in becoming involved in the sport of drifting this is a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY, as we are spending $$$$$ to bring 2 of australias best & most experienced drifters to Cairns & both Dan & Josh will give you all the help & assistance you need
There is also several other drivers making the trip (without their drift car) just to help out
I am very well aware that there will be some guys who maybe have experience & some who have non---- BUT WE WILL BE CATERING FOR BOTH
ALL DRIFTERS WHO ENTER WILL BE AMAZED JUST HOW MUCH THEY WILL TAKE AWAY FROM THIS EVENT, so dont hesitate, get your entry in
cheers
Ian

These guys are putting out their time and hard earned cash to come up here to get drifting on the map in this area .
All you guys have to do is MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE.
Its a golden opportunity for next to no cost to you guys.
Dont stuff it up by thinking you are not good enought .
Give it a go

Q.S.S. needs its own donated drift pig for learners to give it a go and see what they think wink.gif
Open for anyone who is GENUINELY interested to give it a go without risk to their pride and joy.
