i try not to relive that nyt as it was sooo bad
60 foot was in the late 2 second bracket even maybe early 3's as i had 2 kinda baby it and still spun it off the line cause i had a crappy gearbox in it and had 2 drive 1000km home after that nyt i liked it in one piece.... i will try find the time sheets lee and put em in my thread..... i think they are in the car still

I don't like being told what to do, and when some aluminium cased box of gears and friction plates tells me that it's time to change up, I really get pissed off. I will decide when it's time to change gears and sometimes I'm right. So the old smarty-pants automatic transmission isn't my best friend

If it's early November I might bring the Falcon down to give it a shake down before the Springnats and get some practice in.

Great car mate, awesome to see another worked XR6T on the forum. How the hell did you make that power on standard valve springs though?

thanks nut not so bad yourself & its the bf mkII with the same internals as the typhoon which includes the valve springs. but in saying that i have heard of them needing to be changed at alot less hp so i guess i pulled the right straw. next lot of mods it will definately need to be done though but thats ok part in parcel of it all.

no worries lee i knew you was playin. would love to see your thing down the track. would be good to have someone down there givin me pointers as i go. ive got a few major goals id like to reach before the next undertaking so i need all the help i can get!!!

abit of a update on the car. the surge tank is gettin fitted as we speak with a new 044 pump gettng ready for next weekend in townsville. hopefully all will go well & will come back with descent numbers. not expecting miracles but soughted out the launches hopefully & the surge problem as well. also i'm using next weekend not only as practice but a guage for some future upgrades. within the next couple of weeks i'll have a nice new shiny intake plenum & have it retuned hopefully seeing close to the magic 400rwkw mark but more importantly offer a stronger tune for the 1/4 to get our time closer to 10's using pump fuel. all i need is a good night, some practise & for me to learn how to launch the big tub!!!
