It would be a pretty rough estimation as it is still way early days yet, there is alot of paperwork and red tape to battle with, approximate 18 months if everything goes well

I have to appologise but the committe has asked me to remove this post as our phones have not stopped ringing since making this post here and we have enough to do without answering the phone all day.

They feel that it is too premature to have too much information out there as it is still early days and there is nothing set in concrete yet, except to let people know that there is something happening.

I've just moved up here from Sydney and I tell ya there's so much land up here that I'm surprised there isn't some kind of motorland here already. I'm sure there must be somewhere either privately owned land or local government land that can be used for us people looking for a safe venue for off street racing and driver training. I'm missing not being able to go a track such as Oran Park or Eastern Creek which is a safe place for people to go and put their driving skills to the test. This also includes WSID drag strip. Surely something can be done up here.

Good news the club has submission before council and it's subject to approval and compliance with certain conditions/requirements but all looks good.

The Tableland Drag Racing Club is holding an URGENT meeting this thursday 6th August 2009 7:30pm Atherton Hotel (the Stump) please text numbers of persons wanting to attend to Bruno 0418460512. All interested parties welcome we numbers and support to get things happening. Memberships etc available on the night.
