I thought i would start this topic cuz i finally got some pics of my car. im planning on carpeting my parcial shelf i made last week this weekend and i need to give it a good polish, but i might as well put some up and who ever has pics of there car give us a look.

i must ask... what is it. i havent seen a bonnet scoop like that be4?

its a gen 1 mx6 gt. Or for non mazda fans its a turbo'd '91 mx6.
The scoop is a $30 stick-on special from auto barn. I just shaved the stick-on flange and bogged it to the bonnet. Much to most ppls disbelief the scoop is functional and sits about 3 inches directly above my pod filter.

When I get motivated I will finish the bog work and get rid of the crusty black stripe.

currently in between aero kits, the car is done half assed atm, im sick of lookin at it so i take it for a drive once every couple of months (since im usually away or working too often)

Nice work on the parcel shelf. I helped a mate do one of those about 15 years ago. Is the box fully enclosed or is there some base reflex holes that can't be seen?

Well this is my 05 lancer,, havnt got many pics just yet, have to get more on a fine day,, nice job on the parcel shelf peachy, looks good,,, i wish the second lancer was mine lol found it the other day, was spewin

the parcial shelf is fully sealed from the inside and has a tape all around the edges as well that kinda seals. but basically i made the initial parcial shelf with the speakers on it, then i cut all the peices out and screwed up the side. sealed all the edges i could see on the inside, then screwed the bottom on and sealed those edges from the speaker holes. the box is also in 2 separate chambers, as u can see there are some screws inbetween the speakers... yes they are there for a reason. and i have the carpet in the car atm but havent had anytime to put it on yet. and that carpet was supplyed by the legend himself.... xr8 uteguy aka rod... ill post some more pics up of it whem im finished. and im hoping to get a mono or 2 channel rockford fosgate amp after tax time to replace my crapy boss amp and hopefull have that for the next sound off.

the boxes are around 0.4 cubic foot for each chamber

Well here is my car... its a project car for about another 3 weeks max lol i jus waitin on my tax to enter my bank account... if anyone wants to help with fixing stuff on it, ur quite welcome too...

io i was at the auto salon last yr and saw ya lancer there. I got a few pics of the bonnet. My brother loved the airbrushing.

mine will look way better than that one wen its done,, peter at newton is doing my airbrushin which will start on the bonnet and finish on the front doors,, my evo bonnet,, fluted gaurds and evo wing will be on there way soon,,, and next a pair of 75mm lowered coils,, so wont be long till she's ridin low and sweet, then the turbs will go on

nice sub there peachey (its the same as mine lol)

ill throw a few pics up, mine looks better now that i have the clear side indicators, its subtle, but it looks way better IMO
