Just pull it off yourself and get that guy to chrome it for you. Or if you have a bench grinder, change the grinder wheel to a buffer wheel and polish it that way.

Hey cheeky,
i gather the V6 you have is the non-ecotec engine, if this is the case, Kilkenny Castings do a finned polished alloy set of rocker covers.....
I saw a set at Supercheap here the other day, i am not sure if they stock them everywhere...if you have trouble sourcing a set, PM me and we'll work something out with the set here.....
Cheers
Hmmm.

I can smell.......stupidity.

I found that if u need a few little bits chromed, take them to a plumbing/harware place. I had my door handles done for $3- each cuz they sent them away with a few kitchen taps and what not.

ANOTHER Q. :D

Can anyone tell me which model v6 comodore came out with the tubular type exhaust manifolds not the cast iron ones??

Does anyone have any? Because apparently I cant fit comodore after market extracters because of the steering...

Hi cheeky,
I am not 100% sure if any models came out with a tubular header.....i'm interested to know myself.....
But just a thought, have you spoken to Castlemaine Auto Electrics and Exhaust? they may do a header to suit your application.....or maybe do a google for v6 conversions.....just some ideas B)
Hmmm.

I had my set of custom extractors made up by the guy at willows, fast fit mufflers i think. He did a really good job and doenst appear to be as busy as other places. Rang before hand and Just rocked up with the torrie on a car trailor, he did them all up and had them ceramic coated for no extra cost. All up i think it was around $500 for extractors, pipe and flange installed.
