Event Title: A Day at the Park & Swimming Hole

Hi Everyone,
This is just a heads-up for everybody to get organised and as soon as we have confirmation from the Council things will be all-go.
The NQ Holden Club is in the process of organising "A Day at the Park & Swimming Hole" for any motoring enthusiast and their families including all other car clubs and their members who wish to attend on Sunday 18th January [from about 10am or 11 at this stage].
It will be held at the Smithy Holmes Park area of the Behana Creek Picnic and Swimming Hole on Moller Road Aloomba. Aloomba is 14 k's south of Cairns that's about 20 minutes drive time.
It has excellent facilities for car enthusiasts, enclosed grassed area for plenty of cars to be displayed, shaded BBQ's, toilet blocks, swimming, trees for shade and an area for the odd game of cricket [away from the cars].
Just turn up BYO everything [especially your favourite wheels] and join in the day.
Spread the word. I will email again when we have confirmation and a gate key from the council.

See you guys know how to have a cruise with out the fighting lol. I would love to come, just depends if the car is on the road or not. Might see you all there!

we could be a noshow. Jake with "SUS-90" ss ute is in brissy, i got no idea where luke is who owns "SIRHDT" probably up marrebah or something. ill talk to others tonight though.

Ford club having breakfast at Tosca's at Cairns Central and going from there, Starting at 8.30 leaving around 9.30-10 ish.

Sorry I started the pictures after lunch and lots of cars had gone. European club with the Ferrari's, Porsche's etc. Yes you read that right, Ferrari's and Porsches,MG's and Triumph's and lots more.

well it was a bit sad to see only me out there as a part of QSS... should be more support, more active members of the community, not just ppl saying they will show and then dont.... was pretty good doy for the lil bit that i was there
