I will have to go back down and have another Go as it has been 4 or so years.
Car is a 01 VX Supercharged V6,Auto, 10psi boost and that is it, I cant remember exacts
But time was a 14.5 at 88MPH on street tyres. that was if i had the air con on, handbrake slightly on
and eased the throttle, I held the brake and staged it to around 2000rpm once and the time
went from mid 14 to a mid 17 with lots of smoke, but I had fun :)

I been looking back through the thread and some times support mine then i See one guy do a 14.5 at over 100mph. It has been about 4 years so maybe im a bit off with my memory, I was pretty sure
they were the figures though. guess it all depends on which end of the track your car is making it speed. I know i went up against a manual nat aspirated V6 C'dore and by mid track he had me, but end
of the QTR mile i had two car lengths. I have only ever run on standard street tyres, yes they may be 235 wide but even with an AC on start and slightly pulled up handbrake I get a bit of wheel spin, Guess I
am just going to have to take it back down for another go. Any Excuse i guess :P. BTW my times have been done on the Mackay Track. (not that it matters, just noticed people putting in where )

AC as in running the compressor, dragging a few small parts of horsepower from the motor, I really do have trouble with tyre spin, majorly due the the problem i have with OH GREEN LIGHT right foot hits the floor

With reference to the above discussions, a 100mph is good enough for a high 13 with a good launch.

My best with my latest car is 12.9 @111mph. 2.0 60 ft :(

More difficult if your car is front wheel drive.
I trap 100-105 mph but getting consistent high 14's to low 15's
Slightly annoying.

With all the recent rain, i thought the drag strip was still closed
