Anyone ever used Toyo Proxes?? I found them to be really good for traction but you dont get to much tire life out of them..

Price: $400 each ~
Tire shop: Central tyres in Atherton ( cheaper than Brisbane prices
Size 235/40 18" front and 255/35 18" rear
Good tyre for most conditions, absolutely amazing in the wet, can drive like in the dry unless its absolutely pelting down. Only problem is they wear extremely fast and the cost versus life span doesnt really work out good. But meh its a performance car so it gets performance rubber

For burnouts and drags go retreads.....wont last long but are really soft and sticky. Smoke good too.

I'm just about through my 1st set of these. They're a very good tyre for the money and they've lasted much longer then I expected they would. I've just bought a set of re55's for the sprints this w/end. It'll be interesting to feel the difference between these and a set of half shagged RT-615's. I won't be using the RE55's for daily though. Waaaaaay to soft

I have also created a new topic about tyre measurements as there is a common misconception on how to read them.
