but i find them to wear out in the centres alot quicker than the outside of the tyre...

Lower your tyre pressures BLK EVO4, pressure in wide tyres is even more criticle than std tyres.

I was running around 30psi in them... It was a fairly common fault with the Eagers to wear more in the centres apparently, but i will drop the pressure a bit lower just to test it out.. cheers! ..havent driven the car for a while now.. so there has been no tyre wear.. :-)

i find my nankang 235/45/18s to be a good tire for the price i paid for them and i don't treat them kindly through corners if you know what i mean the only problem i have found is they feel a little bit spongy when you need that extra little bit of brakes mid corner...
isn't spongeyness ure typre pressure/suspension? i do't know much about tyres (i probably should know a lot more) but that'd scare the hell outta me if tyres were spongey through corners...

Yea they shouldn't be spongy that is for sure

I have had Savas on mine for the last year and a half, believe it or not! I am surprised they have lasted so long as I do give it a hit now and then and they are the same tyres I ran at the drag strip. They aren't that flash anymore though, pretty easy to get a bit ass happy so it's time to get new ones soon.

I'd say Nangkangs NS II, have had them on my car and tehy handle good *wif my coil overs:P* for the price you pay for them, but if ur up for abit more try yokohama AD07 which is the best street legal tyres u can get, or if ur up to it, try some semi slicks yokohama A048 :)
