I hear he's given up after almost 20years of abusing his hemi's etc; he's going cruzing and enjoying his car a little more. He's doing a major 15000klm road trip starting this Monday........... I Believe..... Could be wrong though........... He'll be sadly missed. Bugger the Hemi.

After being entrant and religiously going to watch this event, i wonder will the pad be looked after for the event, i have no where near as much horse power as the cars that will be on show, and i find that the pad is way to slippery. Will it be regularly swept and maintained unlike monthly events.
And is the speedway the best place for this event?

This is something we discussed in our early meetings. The pad will be kept completely clean between the regular comp and the "PRO". No wire, bits of rubber, etc will be left on the pad or on the edges. The pad will also be cleaned after every skid.

The only reason the pad would be slippery is if there was water on the pad. Once there is rubber on there it's quite sticky.

this i understand, its the rubber that sits loose on the surface that makes it slippery. But cool, will be awesome, just thought i would suss it. Do we know entry prices for specs and so fourth as yet?

Prices will remain the same. $10 to enter the gate. $25 to skid.

any idea of who will be judging this event??

just an idea would be good to put out the judging sheet so people know what they are being judged on and who will be judging the event..

i know miller does not want to skid the centura anymore and i know he is keen to throw his hat in for judgeing, in my opinion he would make a good judge for this event..

you need to make sure the judges know what they are doing for a prize pool of 3k..

Judges so far are Peter Crisp (Ingham Xtravaganza) and Nudge (ELITE Pro Street/Crossroads). Third judge is undecided as of yet.

We figure they are a great start and you can't get much better than that.
