Hi all, seeing as there has been so much talk bout a cruise this saturday i thought i would post up a thread for it.

SATURDAY 5th AUGUST
MEETING TIME 1.30 at Westcourt Shopping Centre Carpark, with departure by 2pm. Plan is town cruise then beach run, finishing at one of the beaches for a drink or snack. Please not idiot behaviour.

i would still like to go up to port if anyone is interested. i understand more tvs ppl have already driven 4hr or so and prob dont wanna drive anymore, so if anyone is up for a drive to port after we all go to northern beaches just pm or post here. im thinking about leaving smithy at 4 - 4:30 ish so yeh, if ur all going to be there around then that would be great. i was thinking about having dinner up there too.

hey ppl, so when are u all planning on leaving town, i have to stay home and help around the house we are renovating till about 3.30-4... do u guys think ull still be in town there or will i have to race out to the beaches and meet u all there?

did anyone read the post i made about going to port douglas after ppl go to northern beaches??? im up for the drive is anyone else? if not up there maybe to coppaload or something.. if we get there be4 5pm we can go to the cafe and get some drinks/ice creams or something there. and on the way back down get some photos done. maybe if we did that first then to the beaches to get food that might be an idea.

Count me in but prob can't leave the tablelands till 2 at the earlyist, Should check out trinity beach taven went there yesterday it was great. If any one from the tablelands wants to head down together would be good, could meet at bp or something.

i'll be there.. cruising up from townsville... hope fully the zed will make it, have installed a better temp gauge since last time so i can tell when were about to cook.. haha

how far is this port drive? i dont mind driving, just would like to know how far it is and who's gonna come with me...

im prob gonna head to port if some ppl wanna come, it takes about 40min from smithy... and smithy is 10min out of cairns. so yeh..

40mins at 200km/hr check.. lead me to a deserted place and steal my car check.... nah it's all good, see how i feel after driving to cairns, gonna be up all night friday changing coolant pipes..
