100 in the park and app 100 outside plus people came and went so the number changed during the morning . Safe to say over 200.

Excellent work Squeaker,(Neal)
Top Day, and it took a casual event like this to bring out some very seldom (if at all)seen cars of Cairns.
Only Two critisisms
1 The park wasnt big enough to fit all those that attended.
2 After having coilovers fitted to the ute I still couldnt get in the driveway. sad.gif
Again , well done to the organisers and those that took the effort to attend.

Big THANKS to all those guys that turned up to make the day what it was!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif ,
in response to the critisisms(sic)
1 great critisism to receive biggrin.gif .thanks just got back from looking at a potential site that is bigger unfortunately doesnt offer as much shade, but we shall see how we go.
2 a Ferrari and several porsches made it in why didn't you use the back door? tongue.gif tongue.gif
Again thanks!
Neil

That may be normal for the euroguys...But I tend to shy away from anything "backdoor"

It was a bloody awesome day. Big thanks to all those invovled with the organisation, to all those that brought their pride and joy along, but most importantly, the fantastic attitude that everyone brought along with them.

I don't like being told what to do, and when some aluminium cased box of gears and friction plates tells me that it's time to change up, I really get pissed off. I will decide when it's time to change gears and sometimes I'm right. So the old smarty-pants automatic transmission isn't my best friend

Great to see such a variety of cars, although 152 BA falcons was a bit much.. tongue.gif

and that aston martin... sex on wheels... if i could sell a kidney for $215,000, i'd have been driving it home!

I think a few people should look into that particular car a little closer, variable valve in the exhaust allows a more free flowing exhaust when a pre specified pressure is applied if adjustrable could be set up to your pre defined testing limit. result permanently legal exhaust that still flows good at the track!
Did anyone hear him leave?mmmmmm cool.gif where's that drool smilie gone.

It may surprise people but there were only 4 BA Falcons (There were more 911's)do the new FG look that close as there were more of them.....

I believe the FG XR8's have something similar? Over and above the 2800rpm area it comes into play.

It's a readily available product now. Varex had sold a product that does this for a few years now for around $400 with an IR remote so you can open/close as you drive.

Loud at the track, quiet on the street.

Yeah know about the varex but what I was thinking was say my car should be DB tested at 3800rpm I set the valve to open at 3900rpm, also thought there were some legality issues with the varex. If so factory cars coming fitted with variables would change things.
