great OLDSta can't wait to hear how dissapointed you are about this show like you are about every show you go to.
but hopefully you can for one day remove the stick from your arse and enjoy it like everyone else.

sounds like a very good show so hopefully everyone supports it. Can't wait to see gary myers cars.

I don't know what your problem is and I don't really give a shit but I will continue to tell it how I see it. If Charters Towers puts on a great show again I will be the first to compliment them. We all enjoyed it last year and are in fact staying an extra night this time. To me you have posted way off topic with a personal attack on me anyway so why don't you go post it in the Burdekin topic where it belongs. (or better still shut your mouth entirely and stop the personal shit)

I wonder if the EPA will be called about the burnouts.
I might be a Dinosaur (and bloody proud of it, lived on the edge through the best years of street machining), but I rather push my Holden than drive a rice burner with hair dryer

Yeh,I know, that but the EPA was called to Ingham and the majority of Ingham is behind their car show

Hey Wombles ... Having never run a burnout comp before we've taken the extra time to i & T so we hopefully have no problems from the EPA or anyone else ?

In reference to Womble's post, I don't think Ingham is worried about the EPA, as you may have noticed we have at least 8 top burnout cars coming here from south for the Car Show this year. There was something in our local paper last year but the club that runs the Ingham Car Show has put some sort of plan in place and the local council over ruled the EPA (or something like that was reported)
Good planning obviously goes into the Towers Show and we are looking forward to the new attractions this year.

If camping, do you need to book a site? Or is it just a free-for-all on the day?

One day to go

For anyone thinking of going out for just the day, Sunday last year was huge I think maybe because Monday is a holiday a lot of people (and some entrants) took advantage of it. Looking forward to seeing Gary and Debbie Myers as well.
