Well i missed the actual crash, but i was told that he came of at the second corner, they heard the brakes lock up from the bottom of the hill and then it was just silent. just saw some pictures on hano's facebook the car looks to be mainly front damage, the intercooler and oil cooler etc look trashed but i dont wanna say too much because its mainly second hand information.

Saw the car on the tilt tray when it got back to the bottom and it looks to be mainly cosmetic, Intercooler, radiator, bumper and lights etc. Hopefully theres nothing major thats been wrecked on it as it was awesome to see in action and i must say the car has to been seen and heard to be believed. Amazing car and all the best with the repairs mate

(don't need cold weather if ya running race fuel and you got good cooling system in ya car including good intercooler. I have everything in my car to run an 8 the only thing that might let me down is having the 3 speed C4 not a powerglide, but can guarantee ya's if nothing goes wrong with my car the first night it hits the strip if it don't run a mid to low 9 i will sell it, I have spent too much on it and all the right combos for it not to do it) :lmao:

Speaking to coop out there today he said it's easily fixable although expensive.
FWIW I watched his 1st run yesterday and IMO his was the quickest accelerating off the mark.
He was in outright 3rd position before his mishap.

Bit of other carnage out there.
The HDT commodore retired with diff problems.
Lindsay Stone in the grey RX7 had a few bent rims to show.
Someone else hit a post and lost their rear bumper.
A few others pulled out with problems that maybe someone else can elaborate on?

It's repairable and the car is still pretty straight. Just some expensive and 1 off parts that will have to be binned. Pretty much just a rear end lock up, kicked out hard and ran tarmac to pull it up. Took out a small tree and stoved the front into a rock. Better luck next year. Gotta stay true to my sig. On a positive though that motor was amazing all weekend and from what i've removed so far it looks fine.

And another Highlight of the weekend for me was getting to drive the RGM Racing R35 GTR. They definatly are an unbelivable piece of machinery. All the power of a good going Rb26 but with absolutly no Lag.
So as far as I know I could be the first QSS member to drive an R35 so fell free to post jelous remarks here.....haha laugh.gif
