"THE PATH OF THE GTI-R IS BESET WITH PERIL BY THE INJUSTICES OF THE SPEED CAMERA AND THE TYRANNY OF OTHER DRIVERS. BLESSED IS HE WHO OVERTAKES THE EVO & STI THROUGH THE VALLEY OF HAIRPIN TURNS, FOR HE IS TRULY HIS CAR'S TUNER AND THE FINDER OF LOST HORSEPOWER. . . AND WE SHALT STRIKE DOWN WITH GREAT BOOST AND FURIOUS ACCELERATION ON WHOEVER DOTH ATTEMPT TO OBSTRUCT OR DELAY OUR OVERTAKING. . .
AND YOU SHALT KNOW OUR NAME IS RNN14 WHEN WE LAY THY VEGENCE UPON THEE."

Pretty easy for me when i went the first time..
Car in good shape.. ie; no leaks, tread, overflow etc.. stuff which should be in order to be Road worthy
Blue triangle on the panel were the battery is, 1kg fire extinguisher bolted down within arms reach, no loose items in vehicle.
Then you just got to make sure the car is healthy.. fluids, nuts & bolts, tread etc.
Definately give it a go.. heaps of fun. Can't wait to get back out there.

You need a CAMS L2S (Level 2 Speed) license to go in the Sprints and Hillclimbs. You can get it off the website:
http://cams.com.au/Development/Get%20Invol...LicRenewal.ashx
And you have to be a paid member of a car club, with membership number/card.
If the car is registered you'll need a CTP extension for the day(s) that you can get from your insurance company.
And the rest is safety jazz, long sleeve shirt, pants, closed shoes, helmet, 1kg fire extinguisher, blue triangle.

Thats townsville city autosports club, theres two clubs, tcac runs the hill climbs and Marque runs the sprints, it doesn't matter which club your a member of you can run both events. I dont think marque has a web site but here is tcac's. tcac web site

When is the next sprints event? As far as I can tell it's not over for the year yet, and next one is the 17th Oct - correct? Want to get out with some new camera gear and take some shots, haven't been out there for ages.
