Yeah it went good, a few PB's were had. The results are up on the website now, Sprint results.

There will be a round at the back half of the V8 track again this year too, on the 6th and 7th of August.

Come and try day (practice day) is March 24th.
There will be 6 sprints on top of the come and try day, along with the sprint to be held on part of the V8 track at Reid park.
Email

To the guys that have run these sprints before do you have an extra set of rims and tyres or do you just run your dailies around the track?

Some run street tyres and some run semi slick 'race rubber' depends on if it's your daily etc. all up to the driver.
For first timers they should run a round or so on street to see if it's something you want to put some time and money into doing, as a set of good 'semi slick's' will set you back the good part of $1500 +
not much point in spending that amount on rubber if you can only make a round or two or find you get sick of racing etc and then just chew the soft rubber up on the street.
Obviously the better the rubber the quicker your times + throw in driver ability of course.
