haha yep, still not bad for a car that is set up purely for the race track. i think the only thing they changed in them was the diff gears

I agree. For a fairly heavy manual car with 600/650hp set for circuit, it is awsome.
Especially the MPH!!

Not as impressive when you consider how much money goes into these cars lol. And 650hp but how much torque do they put out?

dude... all that money that goes into them is dedicated for circuit work.. NOT 1/4mile however when you look at it.. 134mph.. that thing has potential for 9's even tho its setup as a track car

also that 650hp is at the flywheel.

this was from their best runs,

Whincup
60ft - 2.040 sec
330ft - 4.901 sec
660ft - 7.184 sec
660ft mph - 104.21
1000ft - 9.145 sec
ET - 10.817 @ 134.97mph

Lowndes
60ft - 2.037 sec
330ft - 4.886 sec
660ft - 7.196 sec
660ft mph - 107.04
1000ft - 9.186 sec
ET - 10.866 @ 134.05mph

pretty bloody quick considering they are manual weighing in at around 1350kg.
I want one.

My car is designed for handling but it runs a mid 11 second quarter mile stock. (Research RUF 930 if you want to check.)

Is that supposed to be good because i didn't think much of it. I don't know much about drag racing.

a mid eleven compared to a 10.8 is about 8-10 car lenghts mate, so you'd have got your arse handed to you...

Yeah I didn't think i'd beat it... I realise that 10.8 is a smaller number than 11. I was moreso curious as to what a fast 1/4 mile car is considered these days.

a ten is quick in anyone's language.... 11's and 12's for street cars are still considered very quick in my opinion... some will beg to differ... i'd be happy with a 12 second street car.. you'd still beat 95% of cars on the road with that.

It did a 2.040 sixty foot. If it did a 1.50 sixty like me, it would actuall run approx 9.90 1/4 mile, which the mph
shows. Like stated, very impressisve for that type of car.
