Ian started this program at the Townsville Dragway over 25yrs ago to help young people understand their vehicle, its capabilities and the capabilites of the driver. He has had a long history in the rally industry as a driver and teaches those in attendance skils to improve their handling of their own vehicle.
The course is held between 9-3 on a saturday - and includes 40 mins of theory.
Theory includes some current safety aspects of modern vehicles eg air bags and ABS, and he also covers the new vehicle stablility control now available on the new Holden Commodores
As the day progresses the degree of difficulty is increased.
This will not be a day of racing on the strip and is to be taken seriously
Cost $170 per person each group must have a minimum of 6 people in their own cars and he will accept a maximum of 12 people ----if we can give definite number of 10-12 people he will give each person a discount.
This would be an excellent opportunity for those interested -- only those of you who are serious about doing this need apply!
