Event Title: Mopars In Mackay

First Mopar show for Mackay on the 22nd of August.

Includes a static car show at the Mackay Aero Club. Around 1hr cruise around town followed by a Keep Speed Off The Street event at Palmyra Dragway that is open to all vehicals, not just Mopars.

Also if you know anyone with a Mopar (valiant, chrysler etc) let them know this is on, they may not know about it.

Trying to get all the out of town people to stay in the one spot and that is Shamrock Hotel (click link).

If your into Mopars it should be a great and even if your not really it should be . If you have any questions, just ask.

how long does it take to drive to Mackay from Cairns? i haven't done it in about 5 years. I'd love to go down for this, but I think funds will be a bit tight...

Never been to Cairns, but i'm guessing at a distance of around 800km maybe 8-9hrs.

The static show will finish up at 1.30. Gates open to the drags at 2.30 and racing from 4pm to 8pm. The drags are open to all cars.
