Why Don't we all get behind this new track is ment to be getting built in Cairns its 2K long and 12 Meters wide sound pritty good to me.

Oh and when matt i think it is says that he won't chase people to get behind this drifting in Cairns because those people don't care enough.
Well i would at least try and chase some. In my case i am an apprentice AME and i also work every second of my spare time making minitrucks, but if someone came to me and said hey we are trying to get drifting happening big time in cairns I would put in my all and get all my bussiness contact behind it. at the moment it seams half ass'ed and i'm not to keen to put my reputation on the line if its not going to happen.

So there is plenty of people out there they just don't want to be stuffed around ontop of all the work load they have already.

Excuse me? I know there is plenty of people that will help. There is just nothing to help with at this point in time. When the time comes I'll contact people asking for help.

I don't post asking for help because 20 people say they will help and 3 turn up. I know who are keen to help and I will ask them directly. If you're keen to help then that's sweet. The more helpers the better but don't say something is half assed that you've not even been involved with. Come out and help at the next meeting and prove you're keen to bust your ass like I do.

All previous meets have ran extremely well and everyone has had a blast. The issues that are current have nothing to do with volunteers but politics involving a number of groups and I've said it all in here.

Why not get behind something already happening? Roggenkamps proposed track is years away. In his own words 18 months from receiving approval and funding, which could take up 12-24 months again, it will be ready to go. If and when it happens then the option to relocate is there. Why wait years?

Come down and help me shovel the 3 tonne of crusher dust like I did last time at the next drift meet

The date isn't set yet but will post it up as soon as I know.... seems to be dragging on painfully slow but it will happen. Just check this thread every week or two.
