The drift at Mako is run by Safe Drive and is a drift school. Horst probably isn't interested in drifting and is left to other parties to do which in this case is Safe Drive. The sprint series is run by Stuart (nqmp.com.au).

Good job Matt, hopefully we can start breaking down more barriers so more of us can enjoy the different types of motorsports up here.
Silver EVO 8 MR, BC Coilovers, Whiteline sway bar, Blitz exhaust, Ralliart ECU, HKS EVC-S on 22psi.

^^ lets hope so! The more people work with each other and not against each other because they don't like that form of motor sport the better! It's insane that people try and hurt another form of motor sport. You don't have to like something to appreciate it at the least and perhaps support it.

Im moving back to Townsville next week, would be more than happy to come up on weekends to yelp set out dates, shovel dirt, anything. Intend to get my slider as soon as possible and will do whatever i have to do to get it up and running, if we get a poll running or an online list of genuine interest, can we all do what we have to do to contact the appropraite venue and a potential date? Is the licencing run throuh CAMS?

Nothing has changed. Same spot it has been in for long time.

Only the potential drivers are going to make this happen. I have enough on my plate without another thing to pursue. I've done all the hard work with all the paper work, etc, to get it happening in the first place and now there are some issues everyone knows about but it's up to someone else now. Who ever steps up and needs assistance in getting this going I will help, but at the moment it is going no where.

Up to you guys.

Once i am on my feet with my job that i start in january and eventually get my second job so funds can go to the car, I will be more than happy to take that position mate. Will do whatever i have to do. I will email you once ive started my job so i can grab some of your previous information if thats ok, just so i can get a basic idea of how everything will run, but yeah, would be more than happy to eventually be the one who organises etc and take it off your plate mate.
