who realy know's what a tuff car is. mine is pritty stock but i still think it's tuff. old school new school it's all the same. it dosent matter how many bolt on modes a car has or sticker it all up to the owner of that car to make it there's. don't do something just becouse some one eals said hay u car would be tuff if u did this. think is that realy what i want to do to my car. im currently looking at buying my 2nd car (curently all funds are going it to matty the ute stage 1) it's a vk commy with a carby 202 got a brock kit to go on it, + know where to get a 253 for cheep. but that's what i would do to it some one eals might but an rb 33 in it or a v6 vn motor. i all about doing what u want and at the end of the day when u sit back and have a cold one admiring ur car u can say hay i made my car my way. yerr it is tuff

my 2 cents worth

To myself a TOUGH car is from the earlier days, when cars came standard with enough torque and power to move out quick, with smoothness and style in body shape. Also this category title is earnt from your peers and other car enthusiest and not by yourself. For most people around this area they call my cruiser TOUGH, But myself i dont think it fits into this catergory at all. If any thing i would call it unique/different.

A HR is good base but it would still need to make the right noises, have the right look & perform well, then it may earn the TUFF car tittle :D

If you ha one what coulur would you paint it Fugly or is that a silly question, I guess I know the answer - basic matt black with highlights - close to the mark or not. Flat black on an old HR would make it look like an tough old gangsters car - cool
