Hi Guys,

Entry forms are now available for the Rocket All Stars Racing Series - Round 3 2009 Sunstate Nationals to be held at Palmyra Dragway (Mackay)

http://www.palmyradr...TING%202009.pdf

Friday there is a T&T for Competitors Only Qualifying from 9am Saturday, with Eliminations from 6:00pm.

This should be a fantastic meet with racers coming from all over Australia, it just gets bigger and better every year.

Would be great to see some local entries :)

Change of events on Friday -

Gates open 12:00pm
Scrutineering: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Testing & Licencing Runs: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
First Qualifying Round: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

This gives entrants the possibility of running 4 qualifying passes (time and weather permitting)

It also gives us abit of leeway on Saturday incase of weather conditions.

Also should be noted that there will NOT be day licences available for this event - if you wish to race - you need to have suitable ANDRA licence.

Palmyra Dragway is looking forward to holding the 3rd round of the Rocket All-Stars Racing series on the 2nd and 3rd of October.

The 2009 RDP Sunstate Nationals is shaping up to be biggest event yet with many race teams travelling from all over the country to chase points in the national series at the recently upgraded facility.

The event keeps gaining stature every year with the event being replayed nationally on OneHD on the 25th of October.

Palmyra is the only track to hold a round of the series outside of a capital city and draws truckloads of people to the town with not only the travelling racers, but the spectators alike.

It’ll be the toughest racing all year. The first round of the season kicked off at Brisbane’s Willowbank Raceway in August and the second round at Sydney in September. So a few of the racers are out with a lead, while some want to hunt them down in the points to go onto the next round at Perth in Feburay.

The 2009 RDP Sunstate Nationals will showcase the restricted index racing of group two with the mix of high revving small block and Supercharged Big Block Sedans, Dragsters and Altereds running Super Stock and Competition Eliminator.

While headlining Group Three and Four are the Supercharged Outlaws that incorporate the “Wild Bunch” Sedans as well as Supercharged Dragsters and Altereds running against each other in handicapped “dial your own” format. Amongst that you will see the oh so close racing in Modified, Super Sedan, Modified Bike, Super Street, Junior Dragster and Super Gas.

Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc is proud to have RDP Motorsports come on board for what is to be the event of the year. RDP and Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc have had a proud partnership over the last couple of years including RDP Motorsports sponsoring one of the track read out boards. So it makes sense for the two to join together again for this event.

If you want to see tough and close motorsport action at its best, head to Palmyra Dragway on the 2nd and 3rd of October.

czy383, been to a Sunstates before?

Think 8 Supercharged Outlaws cars, 6 each of SuperStock and Comp. Plenty of tough super sedan and Modifieds. All tough racers from every where. Apparently go a fair few coming out of sydney this year.

Yeah, well I love pro street cause they are just straight out tuff cars. And more on the street side of things.

Sunstates is more about serious racing, plenty of tough races from guys from down south you don't see everyday.
