hey guys i was just thinking. I remember ages ago johnson and johnson had a practice track up the tablelands for their group a cars? Does anybody remember were it was? i think it was between herbaton and atherton. If that track is still there maybe we can fix it up and use it instead of the kart track?

Never heard of that track... the only one out that way is the Speedway track... which is dirt... and still used.

yeah we're talking 20 years ago. And it wasnt a public track it was owned by the johnson family on there farm was around 900mtrs long from memory. I was hoping someone on the forums would know of them as they went bust and the track has since disappeared from local knowledge

Re drifting I will have news before years end. Just sit tight. Put some coin away ready to enter. It'll happen 100%... just can't say exactly what at this point.

I recall them using the long single lane road out front of their farm for conrod straight testing. My olds were good mates with their old mechanic and they all used to race stock cars at Tepon together. Tepon is the track Stain's talkin about. Johnson's farm is on the milla milla to herberton road which I only drove past the other day and I pretty sure there's no track there anymore.

ah true so it got chopped up? and yeah nw matt i was just thinking off other ideas cause they built a track for bikes at the old football fields in atherton. Its not bad for practice kart laps on
