How were the crowd numbers with the weather the way it was?

Ah, thats right. Thanks Darren
Justin and I both had .402 reaction times but he had a .406 or similar as well to beat me into the final.
Don.t know what RT.s Chris had but he was the only one from group B to have 3 wins.

How did Martin go?
11.7,s all day. Consistent within about .010. Makes for an easy dial in.
Marty finished with a 12.8 after he sorted out the ignition box and the new manualised auto. Plenty more left in it yet apparently.

Only those who risk going too far, can ultimately find out how far one can go.

The crowd was the smallest i have seen for KOH but there where the diehards there supporting it still.
Jeremys xy was great to see run looked and sounded awesome, will certainly run better numbers with slicks, was wheel spinning 50-100 metres,
Tanksys falcon was running strong, all though not he's fastest times was consistent and done killer skids as usual

We had some rain in the morning, but with a heap of us driving up and down the track to dry it out we finaly got to the racing.
The LJ ran some good times, we had to put a learner driver in it as Steve and Brock were busy, but Craig managed to hold his own recording his fastest pass at a 10.9
The JD also ran its fastest times, after a Friday engine rebuild, quick run in and staright in the trailer, Jamie managed to finally get the 8.5 he has been aiming for! luckily i guess for us that Townsville is not an Andra track as he actually ran a couple of 8.4s which may have seen him kicked of an andra track.
Tubby (Green LH) however was not so lucky, first qualifiying pass saw the front brakes lock on when Pete got to the end of the track, So no front brakes no racing! but it did do a 9.8 which is what it allways does in its first pass at every track we have been to, so it just goes to show how much effort the guys put into the track up there!
Was a great weekend, if anyone had any doubts about making the trip to Townsville you really shouldn't, we all had a great time.
Thanks again to everyone at Townsville Dragway!
Cheers,
Carley

Will get some photos for you tomorrow and email them to you.

Just like to say a big thanks to everyone who chipped in with some cash to help a friend out, was really good to see. Extra special thanks goes out to THE AXE and his better half for all their efforts, my wife says you look pretty smokin for a short haired country boy. See you all next time.

Thanks Troy and Chereene (I hope I spelt it right). I've been tearing my scalp off for the last week but it was all for a good cause and good freinds. It's the least we could do being so far away. Wish we were closer!! Had a great weekend and must say a big thanks to Graham and the other bloke(sorry I'm a bugger with names) that helped me and Kim out with Cheyanne's car to get it back together for her third round race and then to get into the final. Thanks to Townsville dragway to for percervering to go ahead with the meet. Turned out to be a great night. Cheers:-))
