Most are North of Townsville. Google maps will be your friend for accurate directions but...
Ollera Creek - Head North to Cairns, about 15 minutes past yabula Mobil there is a left hand turnoff to Paluma. Directly across from this, is a small road into scrub over some train tracks. This is the entrance to Ollera. Been here a couple of times and its fairly straight forward and pretty easy to get around.
Bluewater - Turn left of the highway heading North at bluewater. Follow the road all the way up the range. And check out any tracks once your there.
Forestry Rd - Google map for directions. Havent been here yet.
Mt Stuart - Head to the Mt Stuart Road and turn right. You'll cross a little bridge and shortly afterward there is a right turn into a little carpark. Follow through that, across a little creek bed and continue till you hit a small hill with about four different lines. Apparently this is where the fencing is but I havent been there to check it out yet. Once your over the hills, turn right and follow the tracks. Heaps of playing to do there.
Mt Louisa - Theres a couple of different entrances into the mt louisa tracks. Im not sure of all the different ones yet because i havent been there yet.
That being said, Im heading out with a couple other forty's about 4pm tomorrow (sunday). Some of the crowd from 4x4play have organised a group run. Can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. Meaning there is easy stuff and hard stuff.
Meeting at the mt Louisa firestation around four. Its on the left hand side of the Bruce Hwy driving out of town, opposite to the start of the Ingham road entrance into the Bohle industial estate.
Chuck the recovery gear in and come join us for a play...
