Awesome sport, unfortunately no venues up here to actually legally do it.

drifting is good fun

gotta find a good spot to do it

easier for cops to book you as you are out having fun for longer illegaly

drag is easier and less chance of getting caught..

oh yer.. you tend to f**k up and damage the car alot more in drifting

Some people are like slinkies, they don't really have a purpose, But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Who is this they you speak of though?
Obviously they isn't the kart club, as it would be of no benefit to them...

I was talking to a head member of main roads and he has plans for a track/emergency services facility/ driver training area. The soil tests have all been done and they are waiting on environmental crap. He reckons it's at least 5 years away tho.

Any way I don't mind the drifting as long as its in a controlled area. For those interested the motorkana dates should be posted at the go kart track very soon.

Wet doesn't make it good, it just makes it easier for people who can't do it ;)

Drifting is awesome, I would love to put my car on a track and go nuts... the car is built for it but no where to do it. I got a heap of D1GP clips from the Video Option movies, awesome stuff.
