You'll need a CAMS license and membership of Townsville City Autosports Club or any CAMS affiliated club:

Quote

Entries – Open: 8.30am approx 28th December 2010 Close: 12 Noon
Entries are open to current members of CAMS affiliated clubs, who hold a current Level 2NS or L2NSJ licence as a
minimum. Entries must be made on the official entry form, fully completed where applicable and signed.
The maximum number of entries accepted is 40. If entries exceed this number they will be accepted at the
discretion of the Clerk of The Course in order of receipt NCR 85. Event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry
in accordance with NCR 83.
Entry Fee: $40.00 adult $10.00 Juniors* 16 -18 years Free Juniors* 12 -15 years
*Motorkhana competitor minimum age is 12 years 12 – 18 year olds must have a signed parental / guardian
consent disclaimer form to hand in at documentation. CAMS licence and TCAC club membership can be
purchased on the day.

I believe you'll also need to have a fire extinguisher fitted which you can reach from the driver's seat and you'll need to tape up the positive battery terminal. The vehicle will also need to pass a safety scrutiny before the race.

What's a CAMS licence and TCAC club membership worth?

Yes you will need the cams licence. The full cams licence for the year is 100 and 50 for the tcac membership for a year too. You might be able to get the level2 non speed cams licence for 55 but you will need the level2 speed for the sprints if you want to run those. You can sign up on the day just get there a bit earlier to fill in the paper work.

Does it count if you are part of any other townsville car club, like Marque?

Thanks for the info by the way.

You don't need a fire extinguisher fitted for motorkhana's. You will need a blue triangle to indicate your battery location, blue tape can be used for this. See you all there tomorrow :)

Hope not. looks to be just the output seal on the gearbox. Successfully rustproofed the underside of the car for a while. oil dripping off everything.

It actually wasnt to bad this time, has been alot tighter before, some cars struggled but. Im just glad my hand brake worked most of the day. would of been good if the in car camera worked thou. I think everyone has swelled ankles thanks to the march flys or what ever they were.

Wow Kim that rubber destruction is crazy

At least there's no hanging on to the old 255's they are toast. And the other streeters are sick!!! So the 180 went alright no hassles?
So no footage from this event?

Good turn out and a lot of runs also.
Well done to all involved. :D

Was a great turnout! Good day allround. That clubman was awesome to watch! If he didn't WD the 4th run he would of won outright by 7 sec. Also 14yr old Darcy is getting alot faster every event, and driving a new car for the first time at the event. Might be time to get serious this year :)

There isn't any planned as yet, once we find out it will be posted here or in a new thread for the year maybe. Or just keep an eye out for them on tcac's website. Townsville city autosport club. Are you pauly180 from nissansilvia?
