The semis will be interesting, i've been told that traction is an issue for relatively high powered cars...

Scrutineering starts at 7am, On track at 9am...

We'll be going down on friday and staying at the Boulder Opal Friday & Saturday nights...one of the organisers, Robyn, told me that she is having a BBQ breakky on Sunday morning at her place, as there is no Maccas there lol

Well I'm finally loaded with the 2 cars ready to go. Can't wait till Saturday as the weather is looking tops. I even know of a racecar coming from Townsville that should impress!!! Who's up for a few social drinks over the weekend??? See you all there. We are staying at Robyn's place straight across from the boulder opal so please come and say hello.

How did it all go people, heard paul from the Isa had a good showing with his evo8 7.7 at 92mph, what did some of the muscle cars etc. get any videos and or pic's.

Was an awesome day, part of a great weekend.
There was a strong Isa contingent there, great to see and we'll be back bigger next year.
I ended up going 9.60 @ 77mph in the hilux. Was turning the tyres through 1st, 2nd and into 3rd, I had an absolute ball.

Getting pics sorted, will get some up here soon.

Hat goes off to the organisers and volunteers for a fantastic event!

Definately a great weekend once again. We have been every year and it sure is addictive. Thanks Ken for the use of your trailer on Saturday arvo. We got Cheyanne's chassis all clamped up on Sunday and got everything home in one piece yesterday. I owe you one mate.

Special thanks goes to all of the committee who work tirelessly to make it happen, all of the racers who travel from far and wide to be a part of a great day, all of the sponsors of the event and the spectators who really do enjoy the show all us drivers put on.
