Team,
Just got a couple of quick q's...
Ditching the mechanical fuel pump and looking for a good quality electric pump that won't break the bank. What can people reccomend?? I already have a holley fuel reg.
Does anyone know where on the block I can screw in an oil temp sender unit?? I've got a spot for the water temp on the manifold and another spot for oil pressure on the back of the block by the dizzy but cant see anywhere to put oil temp.
Advice and thoughts??

The oil temp sender needs to go in the sump, that will require a fitting fitted first.

Pump size really depends upon hp.
I'm running a holley blue to feed 400hp adequately.
As Fugly said, oil temp needs to be in the sump which ideally means remove the sump to weld/braze a fitting in.
And your questions aren't really Chev related.Same would apply to any engine

If you use an electric temp gauge with a 1/8npt thread, there is a port on the top side of the oil filter boss, it all depends on the type of pipes you have as it may interfere.

And thats the answer I was chasing. Obviously some people are a little more 'expert' than others think they are.....
If I'd wanted an answer for a generic motor i would have asked for one.
Thanks BPM.
