I'm looking at installing a reversing camera on my Commodore SSV and want to use the head unit screen, anyone installed one? I went to a few local shops here but none of them had done it before.

pretty sure something will b able to feed it...

rockford do a few things like this and so do a few other companies.... it is the same stuff used in the ba falcons with premo sound and use the standard screens... i will try find out what a lad in mackay used for his that i know... his was fairly cheap and never played up and im sure u would b able to adapt it for a commo

I don't like being told what to do, and when some aluminium cased box of gears and friction plates tells me that it's time to change up, I really get pissed off. I will decide when it's time to change gears and sometimes I'm right. So the old smarty-pants automatic transmission isn't my best friend

I know I need the VIM mod if I want it to work over 3km/h and I'm guessing I'll need some sort of RCA lead. If I can't get any more info I might just pull the head unit out and check out the rear aux input and have a play around to try and get it to work.
