Yea I only got the car running Thursday night so haven't had time to sort out the cooling properly. The 2nd run I done for the day (Saturday) I forgot to hit the thermo fans. Few little things I need to resolve, but I'm more than happy with it considering.

Ran 345HP on the dyno to. Pretty stoked!

I noticed when I wandered past that there was coolant dripping (slowly) out of the small diameter hose (6-8mm?) where it joined in a "Y" at the front of the motor. Didn't see any of the burnout action, was busy at the time trial event all weekend. (I did hear it however, and see the billowing clouds of smoke.Posted Image )

not bad for a stock ls1 with a carb might need some taller gears now

Probably stick with the gears in it though put look in to a cam/springs down the track. Not real keen to take it racing. Might go down one day as a tag along with Richo and co. one day, but not keen on towing by myself.

With propper diff gears and convertor, should be easy 11's with that much power.
But sounds like he's scared to run the big beast!!

Not a big converter, but give me some slicks and I'll be there :)

Took it out last night for the last meet of the year. Lost a thermo fan so was down to one only. I did how ever get the cooling plumbed better and seemed to fix some problems. Got an alum radiator to go in and will put some better thermos on it between now and next event. Pretty stoked with how it goes. Was thinking cam and diff gears but not sure if I should do anything else to it or just leave it.... "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Again huge thanks to Brinks Performance for help with the TH350, it loves it! Also Dominator for the stall and Tuff Muff for the pipes.

Took the scoop off the bonnet and cut a hole in it today. Think I'd prefer a scoop over the filter. If anyone has anything perhaps suitable let me know. No chance it'll fit under the one I took off.
