Entry forms for round 2 of the Makotrac Sprints on the 13th June are attached. We are running under AASA regulations and insurance now. CAMS licenses are still accepted or if you need a new racing license the AASA license application is also attached (which is half the price). Please read the supplimentary regulations carefully and make sure you bring everything on the day. Any questions, please ask.

Just a reminder that all entry fees must be in by Thursday the 10th.

Looks like it will be another great day of racing with a good mix of cars, see you there.

A little off topic but just to make a mention that the MOTORSHOW ACTION NQ will be on this coming weekend ay MAKOTRAC.

NQMP will be there with 8 cars on display and will be doing some demonstration laps on Saturday at 11.30am.

We will be displaying;
2 x EVO 8's
1 x EVO 7
1 x BMW 135i
1 x Impreza STi
1 x Mk 1 Escort
1 x Mini Cooper S
1 x Birkin Clubman race car.

Come down and say hello and find out more about the race series we have running. It's the only tarmac sprints up here professionally run and insured through AASA. No excuses anymore for people wanting to run their car on a proper track.

hey mate, I'm interested in getting on the track with my magna for a bit of fun.. I had a look at the website, but it appears you guys do "competition" style days etc. Does the mako track do days where you can just go and have a drive around for fun, rather than competitive etc?

also, do you need to be a member of a club to run? I note the entry forms list club membership.

And the costs for the "competition" days are $50 for yearly licence through ASAA and $150 to race on the day, I'm reading that right? And you can run a car in stock standard street trim, you don't need special wheel/tyre combo to be allowed to race?

any info much appreciated mate. you can pm me on here or email any other info to naze_77@hotmail.com if need be.

cheers,
Nathan.

Hey stu

Patto and I are in for sure, had to work out the roster 3mnths in advance to see if its all good.:dance2:
I'll give ya the papers and wot not in the next couple of weeks.
Naze, alot of us just do it for fun anyways.... I know I do! don't get too competitive, otherwise it ruins the fun! my car is pretty stock standard to all the other evo's, and i'm always down at the bottom of the pack, but f**k it! I don't care!:yahoo: it's good to get to know your car anyways.
