As there will be no Ingham 2010 DVD I thought I would post a lot of the video up on Youtube for people to enjoy. If you had your car at the show and would like some footage of your car let me know and I will see if I have any for you.

Here are some videos from the weekend.

Hey Matt, I was just looking at the vids and wondered if you have any from the show beside the burnouts. Have you got some you could post up of the Pavilion and front Show & Shine?

Thanks Matt, Havn't had much time to jump on here lately (renovating still). Hey the Ingham committee has been telling people down here there is no Ingham 2011! You been told anything yet?

Cheers Neale.

Yeah Lee, I have tried to contact the club but they aren't responding. If this is so it leaves a golden oportunity for someone (or another club to utilise that date). The only reason I could think of for not making such a decision well known is to prevent anyone else from having a fair amount of time to organise an alternative Show. So Pete/Jodie/ Rapper or even the Secretary (who is that these days anyway?) of the Ingham Car Show Assoc Inc any comment just to clear this up!

Update...... The vehicles down here that used to have Ingham Xtravaganza advertising on them have had the advertising removed! I still havn't heard from anyone in the club though. It's as if they have just gone to ground. It's not looking good for the club at all. Hopefully we can rejuvinate what was once a fine show and not lose it all together! Any suggestions?

mate we have only been up there twice but it is one of the best events we have ever been too. just from what ive seen there is only a very small amount of people trying to get the show done every year maybe they need a bit more support it normally takes a hell of alot of work to put on a show. dont let this show die off!!!!! the entrants up there also need to get behind it and enter... i heard entries have been down a bit every year, and spoke to people who would say " nah mines not nice enough to be here" thats bullshit there were alot of nice cars out in that car park that should have been in the grounds the entries were cheap, we pay upto $250 down here for entry so everyone get behind it and make sure it keeps going

Ive heard from a source, that Inghams not on next year... Sick of the police ruining a perfectly good event.

Crowed numbers where down last year simply because of that reason and its only going to get worse.

I know from the horses mouth what's going on, but it's not my place to say. It'll be announced shortly so sit tight. All rumour and speculation until then, and boy I've heard a lot of funny rumours lately.

I'll update the Ingham website and post it here when I get the thumbs up.

Yeah Matt the horse has told a lot of people down here too (why do you call her horse?) but seeing you seem to think it's all such a big secret I'll leave the announcing all to you then.

If it's not on it would be nice to get as much notice as possible considering a lot of people put a lot of work into getting cars ready to go. I hope what I have been told is incorrect or the person that gave the info has changed their mind and the show pushes forward, has be a awesome 16 or so years be a shame for it to all die in the arse.

There is no big secret, but there are a lot of false rumors also. Who said Jodie told me? More than one person in the club. You seem to be questioning it yourself in your posts, so if it's not a question and is fact why not just announce it ;)

You did say the horse's mouth! Yeah with the question bit I was sorta maybe hopin the actual people who run the show would actually maybe speak for themselves for once but that is probably a little bit too much to ask isn't it! Oh well Matt while they have others who will run around defending this and announcing that it suits thier style just fine. Why the hell not just make an announcment and get it over with! They are welcome by the way to come on here themselves and actually reply to any comments I make or have made, I am happy to hear thier side! It's not like they have too much on thier plate ATM.

I don't think you would see an OldSta anything Charger. My wife and I ran what I believe was the first ever Ingham Car Shows @ Trebonne in the mid 80s and we also were heavily involved in the Ingham Car Show until 2007 as both executive members, judges and sponsors (Hinchinbrook Tinting Signs & Lines back then) We know too well the work and committment necessary and unfortunately the best we could do at this stage is fully support and "help" as we had up until 2007 as we are now heavily involved in working towards getting the Ingham Motorcross Track up and running as well as running our business and raising our three teenage children.

I have a lot to contribute still and would be more than willing to work under a new executive committee within the Ingham Car Show Assoc Inc. All they have to do is call a public meeting and ask for new members to lodge thier interest in joing the club. The next step would be for the existing executive to stand aside and allow a new executive committee to be elected. Then and only then will the Ingham Car Show have any chance of surviving into the future.
