Hey all, just a note to advise that we have a very healthy and constantly growing 4WD comp scene in Central & North Qld, from the Mackay Offroad Challenge each Easter, to the more serious WTC (Winch Truck Challenge) Series.

With a vast array of vehicles, from 2.8lt powered Hilux's, to massive 6lt superchaged GQ Patrols, this series offers something for everyone.

Our next event is something that has not been done in our choosen sport of Winch Challenges, being the WTC250. A 250km, approx 8 straight hours of driving some of the toughest terrain the reagion has to offer.
It is being held on Sat 31st of July at Seeonee Park, Rocky.

Fllowing this, we have the third and final round for the 2010 WTC Series, again at Seeonee Park, on the 28th & 29th of Aug. With competitors from all over the state, including Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rocky etc, this is going to be the biggest race weekend for the year.

What events are held further north?? For example... Townsville/cairns/mackay????

Better to say nothing and let people think your stupid than to hit the "SUBMIT" button and prove them all right....

Hey Woody, we hold a comp each Easter at Cathu, about 70km north of Mackay, then Round 2 of the WTC Series at the same venue. We are toying with the idea of another entry level comp around Mackay later in the year.

As well as this, a group in Cairns are trying to get a comp running for next year. They ran into so property issues this year so it had to be put off. For more info on there progress, visit www.ruffkonduct.com .

Would love to see a comp in Townsville in the not to distant future, but a lack of interest and land seems to be a big issue.
