The Whitsunday Sporting Car club is hosting a come and try day this sunday the 8th of August, starting around 10am. the cost is 10 dollars which covers your insurance for the day, all you are required to bring is a ADR approved helmet, ( closed in shoes required as well ) if you have a vehicle you are wanting to run that is fine, it will be checked over by our scruitineer on the day, ( needs to have a fire extinguisher fitted ) there will also be a few of our clubs cars there. for the purpose of bringing new members into our club it is a non timed event just to give people a feel of what we have and what we do, also we will be encouraging you to take one of our established members with you as passanger. This is not to slow you down but to help share their knowledge of the track, and what does and does not work.
this is a khanacross track so 14 years and above are allowed to drive. Location is Tonker Park Raceway, airport Road ( about 7kms south of ) Proserping.
