leigh holeman was $1000 (i will never go back to him)
extreme in clownsville want $600
aitkinvale auto in ville want $1400
whats the difference between the 3? i mean can i expect better gains from $1400? or are they just charging more for the hell of it?

So that rules out Cairns... Unless you go to Cape York Automotive. Have you talked to them about it?
No idea about the rest, Aitkinvale probably do a cheaper re tune rate once you add more mod's like SVS do.

cape you can do it but they prefer the vipec one (ray hall) and suggested leigh would be better.
I just want to know if more money actually gets you anything

No it wont, go see paul at extreme if you refuse to use SVS, he'll do a better job than any others mentioned.

I use Cairns Leading Automotive on Lyons St. Had a shaky start with them, as they were still learning. Since then MRT and S & J have been through there and learned em up HEAPS.
They have fitted all of my performance gear and tuned it to perfection, I have 0 complaints.
The owner, Rob, is a bit abrasive to start with, but once he knows you're not a time waster wanting to put a turbo on an Excel, and you pay bills ontime, he comes around quickly.
I've recently commisioned them to put in my forgies and new turbo with ViPec management.

if u want a quick p plate car go get a commodore with a ecotec and put a set of extractors on it and a 2.5 exaust on it with a ss cai in it and a tune and it will keep up with a stock ls1

at a guess... was it your car a while back that they fried the ecu in than tried to claim subaru warranty... hence the shaky start?

Not mine. I think that was with their own test mule. Silver 06 WRX with ECUTEK up the side of it. Mine was tune problems only.
