Hi All,

The Movember cruise is on again! Raising funds for men's health issues, including depression and prostate cancer. I'm sure you all know about the Moveber cause.

To raise more funds, myself and Gav (FNL01 on here) are organising another cruise.

WHEN: Sunday, 28th November

MEET: Mt Sheridan Plaza (carpark near The Rock)

TIME: 10.00 AM onwards for 11.00 AM departure

DESTINATION: Innisfail State School

HOW MUCH: Minimum $5 per car donation to cruise

LUNCH: Sausage sizzle and drinks available upon arrival in Innisfail

Last year's cruise was a great success and I'm hoping this year will be even bigger and better.

As per last year, we are hoping to have random prizes and I'm hoping to have some extra prizes this year for best presented car etc.

Please leave this date free and come along for a great day for a great cause.

If any companies/individuals would like to donate prizes to be given away, please contact myself or gav on here as all donations will be greatly appreciated. Big thanks to Pete from Cougar Motors who is already on board.

Please also let me know if any businesses would be happy to have flyers etc to give out to customers. Any businesses donating items/prizes will of course be given plugs for their generousity.

For those who can't make it, but would like to help out by way of donation, please visit the following "mospace" page to make donations online:

Naze's Mospace page

This page will be updated with any other details as they become available.

cheers, and hope to see plenty of members there!!

Nathan.

I don't like being told what to do, and when some aluminium cased box of gears and friction plates tells me that it's time to change up, I really get pissed off. I will decide when it's time to change gears and sometimes I'm right. So the old smarty-pants automatic transmission isn't my best friend

well, if you guys want to organise a secondary cruise, go for it. If we get to anusfail about 12, eat and mill around til 1.30/2 o'clock around about, you could organise a cruise up after that.

Hey i am pretty new to QSS, would be interested in coming along to check out the cruise. Have been raising money for Movember for a couple of years it is a great cause - ALL BLOKES SHOULD BE DOING THIS

Do i just register interest here?

Can probably get a a few other cars to come along. EVO, STI and some supercharged ford power. Do they need to be QSS forum members??

Cheers.

Hi Guys, this cruise is for everyone, you don't need to be a QSS member, I just advertise it on here so that the car people know about it.

As pitchy said, this year we're going south, and leaving from Mt Sheridan Plaza.. see you there!

There is a fair bit of parking there. It's not the busiest place, especially on a Sunday. The Southern area (opposite the pub) is probably the best place to park. Most people park on the highway side.

they might do mate yep, but too late to change now!. Once we hit the open road, I'll probably sit at 80 or so along the straights to allow everyone to join up again. we'll probably get stuck at the gordonvale lights as well, so these things happen I guess. I might do up a bit of a map for the day in case anyone gets seperated too much.

A couple more businesses are helping out by either donating prizes or goods.

Thanks to The Car Wash Cafe and Razorbacks Men's Cuts for donations of prizes for the day and to Victor's Gourmet Deli on Sheridan St for donation of bread for the sausage sizzle Very much appreciated.
