Results for the NQMP sprints round 5.

Last race for the year was held at the Makotrac yesterday. We had a good turnout with a couple of the Townsville drivers coming up to race. Thanks to Grant and Ben for making the trip up to Cairns 3 times this year and a big thanks to Andrew Horn (FNQ President) and Dave Page (FNQ Vice Pres) also, Dave and Marianne, Rowan, Steve, Justin and Derek for helping out this year.

As usual, videos will be uploaded shortly to the NQmotorsport youtube channel.

A few changes will be made to the Makotrac in the coming months that will make the track a bit more suitable for car racing so stay tuned to the nqmp website for updates and next years calendar.

What a great first year for Stuart, David and all involved in the running and organizing of the Makotrac Sprint series, It was a pleasure to visit Makotrac and a real joy to race in this series, all evolved should be very proud of your efforts.

It is exciting to see this form of motor sport being extended to different areas so for it to continue to be a success jump on board and join in the fun of off street racing and put you car and yourself to the test in a controlled environment like the one NQMP has put in place. Can't wait for next year and with maybe some changes a foot I'm sure it will be as good or better than the past one. Have a few ale's for me at the presentation fellas should be a good night.

im thinking this is a must for me to do at least one of these next year.... trying to get the car as close to setup as i can without going silly on it atm, i think my lag issue might be a hassle but hey, at least i will still give it a shot :)

congrats on the times too coop, seen your car on the trailer coming into town on friday night and was shocked at just how tidy it was, i didnt get to have a look at it last time u were up here, but it sure does look the part mate, good stuff
The Subaru Impreza is the Automotive equivalent of a decent prostitute.......They perform well, provide a good/thrilling ride but every f*ckers been there and done it already...

I don't like being told what to do, and when some aluminium cased box of gears and friction plates tells me that it's time to change up, I really get pissed off. I will decide when it's time to change gears and sometimes I'm right. So the old smarty-pants automatic transmission isn't my best friend
