few more details : car was originally a 1,6lt SOHC vtec, now a 1.8lt DOHC vtec car is low and reasonable loud (will this give any trouble trying to get mod plated?)

yer tom can no longer blue plate cars after some prior naughty events....

so u wont find anyone that is lax on it... it isnt like some roadies where they will let u go if u promise to do it next week or whatever... blue plates are there for a reason.... and thats the reason tom isnt doing them no more

I don't like being told what to do, and when some aluminium cased box of gears and friction plates tells me that it's time to change up, I really get pissed off. I will decide when it's time to change gears and sometimes I'm right. So the old smarty-pants automatic transmission isn't my best friend

Federation Street. Drive down Scott street with Cairns Central dead behind you and keep driving almost to the end of Scott street. Turn Left. If you get to ARB you've gone too far. Maybe you should add a GPS unit to your list of mods and accessories.Posted Image

Would you seriously want one that Tom approves? I know the hard time the owners of Toms previous efforts received and they where genuine mods.

Cape York Auto or Brakes n Safety would be my choices

Time. You have to work around inspectors, they don't care about your time.

+1 for Brakes N Safety.
Cost less than $400 including a dyno power and emissions test.

Like Sinister said, your time making the car/mods in question available for inspectors to inspect photograph blah blah.

From memory, Cape York did mine for my rollcage on my old VN.. that's going back a couple of years now. They needed everything to be spot on though.
