Evening,
I'm not a huge rev head but I do love my cars.
Recently I owned a 2004 VZ Calais; I loved it to pieces up until about a week or so ago I had a collision with a 4x4 and ended up crushing the front end in.
Insurance are doing their bit so I'm on the prowl for a car; long story short I'm looking at a WRX 98 but im not to sure on it...
To be honest I would much rather go stock standard and kit it up myself that way its done to my standards as im a bit picky, so in saying this I'm looking for opinions on decent looking cars that will sound good with a decent exhaust & such when im finished with it... im not much for the lego sound I love a growl like a V8 just a heads up!
Any advice is welcome!

If you love a V8 growl, best not to go for a stock WRX.
VX onwards SS commodores are good value if they've been looked after, plenty of GFB for them

V8 soarer or something with the 1UZFE. So cheap and with a decent exhaust, pretty nice sound
