hey guys/girls, just wanting to know what car shows are up around the townsville and cairns areas this year? and approximate dates etc.

There is talk of a car show this year in Townsville, but been talk for a while to. Who knows where that is at.

Whether you count these or not as they are not strictly car shows, but events none the less, the Sprints in Townsville, Sprints in Cairns (http://www.nqmp.com.au/), Cairns Burnouts and NQ PRO Burnouts (http://www.cairnsburnouts.com), and various other driving events. Most of them post up here prior to each one.

We have our all Holden day every yeah in Townsville with dyno and swop meet this yeah I have booked it on the 19th of June

Burdekin Car Show April 17th, Bluewater Car Show last Sunday in May, Charters Towers Car Show Queens Birthday Weekend (my personal favourite!) and then there is the all Holden Day, the Townsville Cyclones Rod & Custom Club @ the Strand Townsville around April which is always a good turnout. the Rollingstone Car & Bike Show and the list goes on!

Tv adds have started on Chanel 7 and mate for our Holden show keep a eye out for them

I think there is just a once a year burnout comp in Townsville at the farm? Could be wrong. There are regular burnout comps in Cairns and the next one is June 11th. The one following that is August 13th with over $10,000 prize pool. Be a massive line up for that one. Couple more after that also.
