5.7 Gen III motor
- Crow cam
- Big throttle body
- Big bore Di Fillippo extractors
- 2.5” cat back twin system (original cat back included with sale to assist with getting roadworthy)

Fresh H/D Auto overhaul – less than 1 month ago (over $3000 spent, have receipts)
- H/D bands and clutches
- Corvette Servos
- Big drums
- New std converter (I do mostly highway driving)
- Transgo shift kit – have list of parts used
Hackett Edition features
- Sunroof
- Champagne coloured 18” R8 wheels
- Champagne coloured highlights in front and rear bumpers
Diff gears upgraded
HSV premium brakes - 330mm rotors
New RDA slotted and drilled rotors all round - approx 12 months old
New brake pads when rotors replaced (HSV OEM pads front and EBC green stuff rear)
New power steering rack - 1 month ago
New tyres all round – approx 2 months ago
New Radiator – 12 months ago
New Alternator – 12 months ago
New Starter motor – 12 months ago

Towbar – Never used to tow anything though
Monaro projector headlights
Senator / Calais style chrome window trim - old photo only shows lower trim, but also has upper trims fitted now
Coulsen Seats (new seat base on drivers seat, old seat base included)
Calais chrome interior handles
VZ style silver handbrake
Various bushes, mounts and other things replaced to keep car mechanically sound.

Just ticked over 140,000 k/m’s. This is fairly low k’s for it’s age.

I bought it a couple of years ago with most mods done to it, i've just been keeping it in good mechanical condition since then. I haven't had it on the dyno, not interested in it.

I would say it's got around the 300kw from the mods done to it. It could use more time getting the tune sorted, and to pull some more power out of it.

Looks like a good pickup, I thought the Hackett models only came in 'Hackett Gold'?

I have a Sting Red Hackett edition. Only 100 made . Vt r8 only came with silver wheels. Hackett edition has sunroof, champain wheels, highlights, floormats and special book. I even got mine signed by him. Hackett gold only came on the Sv99. Only other limited edition R8s are the 15th aniversary Vx. Rare cars.

I haven't got any more pics handy at the moment, but can try to organise some this week.

Body is really straight, no shopping trolley dings or anything. Being a north qld car, the roof is starting to lose it's gloss. Will be a cheap fix, probably only needing a some new clear coat applied. I haven't got a roadworthy organised at the moment, this is the only place i've advertised so far. I'm sure it will go through a roady no worries. Only thing they might knock it on is the exhaust, but i have an original HSV cat back to supply with sale of car to fit to get through roady.

I think price is pretty fair compared to other clubby's for sale, considering all the performance mods, and new stuff fitted over the last 2 years. Should be a very reliable VT for whoever buys it.

I'm not desperate to sell, and won't give it away, but i will listen to reasonable offers.
