What an absolute ripper of a weekend. Thanks to Matt and everyone else that put in the hard yards to make this event possible. We are ecstatic with the performance of my car on the weekend are are even thinking about going to archerfield in 3 weeks. Been a long time since I have competed in a burnout comp other than powercruise and I must say this is definately the best I have ever been to. It is a credit to you all and we will definately be back in 2012 to hopefully go one better. Might even come up at some other time during the year to have some more fun.

Congrats to Phil and Tanksy on great skids as well. It is an honour to be in the company of you guys at the top. Stuff the drags let's go skidding

That's what it's all about! Having a cracker of a time and maybe pocketing a bit (or a lot!) of prize money. Congrats on the 2nd place and see you again in 2012!

i thought that the cars can not be push off .they have to drive off under there own power.i reckon that the one tonner from adelaide was the best preformer,at least he drove of under his own power.

The AXE drove off the pad after every skid but unfortunately brand new tyres only lasted 84 seconds. You get that when it is doing over 180 MPH at the wheels. We are only judged on the first 90 seconds anyway so that is what the cars were judged on.

Yeah, but the tires went first. No point skidding if the tires are non existant.

There is no rule on the website that says anything about driving off, there is also no rule that says you have to go for 90sec. The rules says your judged for 90 sec, There is really no point going on if you bust a new set of tyres in under this time, unless you have a total disrespect for your car..

I don't think cars should be penalised for not lasting 90sec if there tyres don't last when they are using new tyres to start with, when the tyres are gone the skid is complete or when the time is up, cars that blow tyres don't get points for blowing them, so they also should'nt be penalised when they finish in less than the judged time either, if like the axe and tuffst done, only IF THEY USE NEW TYRES

I agree with how the final 3 place, casper done a awesome skid, probably the best i've seen him do, and the car was probably the best i have seen it run, it's just a shame the compition was also a lot better than it's ever been also

everybody see's thing's from a different angle and everyone has a different opinion on whats a good skid, we just have to accept what the judges rule on, the tonner from adelaide was a contender but he put himself into a corner, he would have lost points for driver control because of this so he IMO can't place in the top 3..

if the compition is as good next year i'll be bringing my new car out for a crack

top job Matt, all the helpers, and all the entrants, without them this great show could not be put on....

shame the 60 or so 'pro' cars predicted didnt turn up, but what was there were top notch, next time i'll try and keep the 'coon' together and last till the end!!! problem 1... dumper on the left side took flight taking the exhaust wrap with it. fixed.. problem 2... starter motor brush plate screws loose, wouldn't start.. fixed.... problem 3... gearbox dowl on the deck. checked the rest of the bolts, all loose, wouldnt tighten, motor holes stripped. heli-coil time! game over.. f**kin shame but, had another 2 sets of newies to smash!!!!

i don't think he put himself in a corner....i think it was more of a fact of getting the crowd going which seemed to work..made for some good photos too..no doubt he would have kept going but for some reason the marshals told him to stop? I couldn't see any reason for him to stop and then have to start again. Top skid none the less. I think the 1st, 2nd and third were all deserving winners.
