So my house was robbed in Forest Gardens on Wednesday 8/6/11. Had a fair bit of shit flogged Like my new Toshiba Laptop, 160 gig PS3, 8 gig Ipod touch, Reebok Rezig size 10 shoes (they cant be missed, Odd looking running shoe on a bright orange ZIg Zag sole), A Samsung Galaxy S phone, My NS Metropolis Push bike with white forks (hard tail mountain bike, I own the only 2 NS pushbikes in Cairns) witch had a green front tie at the time it was taken.

And a whole bunch of other stuff like the missus' jewellery and a couple of PSP's.

If anyone hears of anything like that for sale or know people that may have been involved Contact me ASAP on 0416865797.
Even if you unsure id it may have been mine, let me know.
Cairns is small, we will not let shit like this fly.
I have some info on the thief's already but anything more will be greatly appreciated.

Funny thing is, There where a couple of ECU's and a substantial value of car parts everywhere throughout the house. They didnt touch any of it. They made a huge mess and went through literally everything... According to the neighbor they where there for about half an hour. 1 - 1.30p.m because the dog was going nuts for about that long. They held him off with a big stick and a mop.

fark man not good. Neighbour didn't think to kinda pop there head over the fence to see what was going on? and u said 1:30pm? in the afternoon? or do u mean 1:30am in the morning?

in regards to the car parts, there prob young and dumb and wouldn't know a thing about cars...prob wouldn't know what to do with an ECU. u got the cops involved?

no not am, it was in the arvo..... daylight robbery and pure fu(king scum.... yes the police are involved but news is some if not most of the bits may already be sold and may not be recovered.... they will get whats coming though eventually

14-18 year olds. They moved a couple of bottles of rum and vodka, but didnt take any. Yeah you would think the neighbor would have a look... but who knows.

that's bullshite man ill definitely keep my eye open but the cops wont track em down i had my sub stolen from my car 3 months ago i called the police they came and dusted my car and found a lot of prints but i haven't heard from them should start a vigilante group ha ha :]

only be a matter of time as ppl are gettin sick and tired of this sorta shit happening. A lad i know who lives around the corner from u ben had his vl broken into only a few months back. Pretty keen the lads that broke into ur house though..during the middle of the day..and uve got a dog. Maybe if the neighbor had of had a look over the fence then it could be a different situation..

Yeah Damo, They got into my car a week or two after that.
I have alot of people keen if the police cant do anything.

Shortly after my last post i got a phone call saying there where 2 more looking suss as f*ck up towards the top of Forest Gardens across the road from a mates place, So I grabbed the screw driver they left here (just to like give it back to him) and took off full noise up there. By the time i got there there where about 4 police cars around there + the others still in the cars out looking. They ended up catching 2 out of 3 of these kids. One admitted to getting into my house and only taking 1 psp and my push bike. The cop said hes obviously full of it. I know this kids name now aswell.

Problem is it'll be a finger print, slap on the wrist, see you later and back in to another persons house.

Someone I know had a few grand worth of stuff taken and he caught it on CCTV. Chased it up and found names, addresses, etc. Ended up getting arrested but only $300 fine with around half of that being restitution.

Yeah that sucks. This kids 14, so he probably wont even get a fine... Definitely deserves a flogging.

I was advised recently from an associate, that his elderly parents had there house broken into at Forest Gardens, they stole jewelry and found the keys to the couples Landcruiser wagon and made off with that. This all happened between 11am-1pm on a weekday.

Yeah there a bit suss around these areas now. Ive heard of that one i think. Is that the some one where they found the car with petrol in the fuel tank and water in the oil cap? or is this more recent?

Yes I believe that to be the same vehicle.
