Hey man...

As you know, I'm beefing up a 6, however its the pre-Ecotec Buick.... but the principle is the same :)

In my opinion, the only real way to grow some big hairy's on a holden v6 other than going forced induction, is to stroke it, a set of heads, aftermarket computer etc etc.

the best two places I've found are

Sic Six
www.sicsix.com
These guys are sorta the new kids on the block apparently, but their alloy heads look brilliant, and they have some good sponsor cars pulling some decent numbers

C.O.M.E Racing
www.comeracing.com
Well... These guys are THE shit.... word going round is that they make a 450 HP crate Ecotec or something like that... it's a 3.8 stroker anyways. They've been in the business a while, and from everyone I've heard they are THE BEST in the game...

As old mate above said, MACE engineering are pretty good as well... I haven't researched them as much yet, but I will be looking into it shortly

GOOD LUCK SWINGING THEM SPANNERS
EVERYTHINGS BETTER STROKED B4 IT'S BLOWN ;) ;)

Youll never get 450 hp from an N/A V6. Unless its like 8 litres. A mate of mine just spent $**'000 on a compete built of aV6, in a VS. Pretty sure he hasn't even cracked 300hp. I know these P plate laws suck, but you may aswell use that money on building an engine with 8 cylinders or boost.. And just waiting until your off your p's.
If you want to keep up with 5L V8 commodores, you better of getting a Honda with a Vtec engine until you off your P's.

I bet its a VP V10 blown twin over head dick fingerers with full drag spec drive line ans supersonic windscreen wipers. Be sure to check under the seat for some pirate gold as i hear these cars are THAT rare.

standard 5L's are slow, replace the diff gears in a manual ecotec V6 and you'll beat em by half a car to the speed limit driver/s dependant.

yeah bud dont even bother doing up a commoodore engine thay are shit ive got one and ive not spent one dollar on it other then servicing.... it no matter how much u spend its not gunna be verry good .. unless u feel like spending huge money and turboing and or supercharging better off buying for that kind of money a honnda integra V tec and getting an aftermarket intake setup on it... they fly really fast u can smash ss commodore and XR8s with one of them .. or why not a nissan pulsar GTI-R its turbo AWD and they fuucking go my mate has one and hes never lost a race in it .. funnly enuff i know where u can get an integra for 10 grand and a GTI-R for 3 grand the GTI-R just needs an alternator and a new turbo

you dont see any honda integras or gtirs easily running 9 seconds

Only about as many as the V6 ecotech competition.
