Hi guys,
Im looking to get a MAFLESS tune and the cam upgraded in my Ute, have been refered to Leigh Holman (SVS) in Cairns and Aitkenvale Auto in Townsville, anyone else got any suggestions or reviews on these shops??
Refusing to even quote at TMS cos they f**ked over a mate any other suggestions welcome.

who referred you to svs? Deff look around before your set on going to one particular place..

SVS do LS1 commodores all day everyday. Shop around yeah, but with $300 or something like that for every re-tune after the first mafless tune. There pretty good value.

My Brother Inlaw From Cairns has had work done through them on his old xr6 and is getting work done on his 6.0l

lk auto.....they do everthin from basic service to full strocker kits and cam kits
specializing in LS ser motors...ive seen some realy good numbers come out of that shop.....

L.K Motors is the go, they would be doing 70% of ls series cars in cairns these days.

as i said in your other thread:
Mike from KTMR (Kennys Tunning Mechanical Repairs) on hugh street did my 383 stroker finished with blower bolted on top and tuned.
He realy knows his stuff. just from talking to the guy, you can realy tell he is realy behind turning bolts and nuts on these motors.
i would highly recomend Mike to anyone that asked me.

I personally have never seen a bad bit of work come out of KTMR mike is the nicest bloke and will bend over backwards to help you out

LK Motors as most of the workers have LS series cars.. ... and ive personally seen the guys there tune stock LS with cam mafless tune and eghaust (with CAT'S) at aroun 475 @ wheels with plenty more in it!!!

355rwkw from a cam, full exhaust and a mafless tune...yeah maybe from the 6L's with quite a decent sized cam..ur average 'street' cam wouldn't net u results as good as that

He is using leading auto dyno at the moment, but he just brought a brandnew hub dyno just waiting for it to arrive

yeah thats from the 6L, but none of them are a street cam, the are all ment to be for none street use. but the 6l are a good motor some making nearly 400hp with just a tune
