2011 IBS Car Show

Last year saw the first IBS Car Show with many cars coming from across the region and hundreds of people coming along to check them out, and the weather holding off long enough to make the day a huge success.

But that was last year! Plans have been under way for a while now and we’re excited to announce that this year’s car show will be held on August 21.

Last year we had nearly 70 cars on display from all makes and models and raised over $3000 for the Innisfail East State School P & C Association and this year we want even more cars and to raise even more money.

The day will kick off with a Show ‘n’ Shine for entrants from 6:30am before we open the gates to the public from 9:00am before closing at 2:00pm.

This year we’ve also added more categories. Entrants can now vie for awards for Best Ford, Best Holden, Best American, Best Original, Best Coupe, Best Hot Rod, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best European, Best Ute, Best Modern, Best Import, Top Sedan, Top Street Machine, Encouragement Award, Car of the Show and the People’s Choice Award.

Cost is $5 per car. Adults get in for $2 and children under 12 get in for free. There will also be food and drinks available with all money again going to Innisfail East State School P & C Association.

If you need any more info, give us a call here at IBS or call Stacey Kneubuhler on 4061 8496.
