Will keep an eye out for it, I would maybe type "quickfuel 750 carb" into google search and see if any recent sales have popped up anywhere and go from there?

No go, it will be found though, cairns is too small, someone stupid enough to theive is stupid enough to slip up and mention it to the wrong person
